The following finishes and plating options are available:
STANDARD PLAIN FINISH
As an added value, at no extra cost, all plain sizes of U.S.
Standard, S.A.E., Fender, Mil-Carb, Type B, and Structural
washers are furnished with a rust-resistant treatment.
PLATING OPTIONS
Standard, S.A.E. and Fender washers are carried in stock with
commercial zinc plating. Chromate films over zinc are available
for special identification purposes or other effects. Cadmium,
phosphate, mechanical galvanizing, hot dip galvanizing, and
other finishes are available on special order. Popular size
mechanically galvanized items are in stock (1/4" thru 1-1/2").
Other sizes are available on a special order basis.
High quality is law at Wrought Washer, and we have implemented
an industry leading quality assurance system... from receiving
raw stock through the finished product. This includes lot
control, statistical process control, gauge control, and
inspection covering the full production and finishing processes.
As a result of this program, Wrought is the industry leader in
setting and maintaining quality standards.
With a fully-equipped A2LA accredited laboratory, Wrought's Q.A.
program has met quality standards of Nuclear Construction, ASTM
Structural Code, MIL-SPEC, Automotive OEM, SAE and ANSI. The
Q.A. department is also available for customer consultation.
